new internet service

So I finally got my new internet service on Wednesday, it's been like 2 1/2 weeks without internet. It felt like forever. I finally started my new job on Friday, it should be interesting. But at least it's full time and benefits after 90 days. I can't wait to go to the dentist again! I've been working on SK Phuan and FoF 71, but I haven't taken any pics lately. I'm going to work on Autumn Splendor this week, so hopefully I'll get some photos taken this week. I also made a frog necklace for my friend's birthday,and I'm glad she liked it. I did take pics so I'll post them in my next update.

2nd interview!!

Well I got some positive news today.. I have a 2nd interview with the hospital on Wed. So hopefully everything goes good and I get the job. As for my current job I had training in Wilmar on Tuesday and Michele Sayetta invited me to her house. So I got to have a great talk with her, Bob and the kids. And I just had to get a pic. My camera battery of course was dead, but Bob is a genius and suggested they use their camera with my SD card! 

I got to show off some of my stitching too!
So here's my updates on my stitching. I was lazy last week and didn't post my update on QS Royal Flower, so here she is. I am soooo close to having that 2nd page done.

This week I worked on SK Phuan, didn't get as much as I wanted done, but she's coming along.

and of course I worked some on FoF 71 too. I'm almost done with another page on her too!

I also got a wonderful surprise RAK from Louanne called African Daisy by Marjolein Gulinski. I was so happy! My internet card died, but I seen I had a RAK pattern from HAED so it made it a little easier to fork over the money for a new card knowing I had a pressie waiting for me!
Since Fudgey is evilllll, I just had to have a new start (insert evil grin) so I started QS Little Wolf Girl by JBG, I have had her kitted for a while and when I went to look for a new start I had fabby ready to go. So I am doing her on 22ct White Aida, a little different than what I'm used to since I like the higher fabric count. I am doing her 3x1 tent stitch and the coverage seems to be good since she is alot of blues and darker colors. But I'll post a pic next week when the SAL is over.

update on SAL Curl up with a Good Book, FoF71 and jewelery

So for my first week of unemployment I was productive on my cross stitching and even did some jewelery, which I haven't done in quite a while.
So 1st up in the SAL Curl up with a Good Book, I got a lot done. I finally finished page one, and a good amount of page 2, with most of the rest of page 2 and 3 the candle, which is mostly all one color.

I got  little more on Faces of Faery 71 done on her forehead. I think I'm going to work on her today and QS Royal Flower as my UFO/SWIP for this coming week.

And here's my jewelery that I made the first one is earrings and a bracelet.

This is a pair of earring that I did, I just finished the bracelet but I'll post a pic when I finish the necklace too. So this is like a preview. :)

Now if I can get my headaches to chill until next week when I go see my worthless neurologist and see what she wants to do now, that probably won't work! Oh well. Hope you enjoy. My goal is to finish FoF 71 this month for the Reward program, so fingers crossed!
Well I totally forgot about the other things I did. I finished a little 5x7 called Horse Pals, which was in a UFO pile and only about half done. I did frame it up right away, but haven't taken a pic of it in the frame yet.

The other thing I did was a Christmas Teddy from Mill Hill Beads for a Ornament Exchange that I'm in on one of the FB boards.  Still debating on sending him or another one I made sometime ago of a gingerbread man holding a candy cane, that is done in cross stitch.

New updates and last day of work

So tonight is my last night of work... maybe. Now they are thinking about asking me to come back to work because the mother of my patient is NUTS!! But whatever happens I still have updates for my cross stitch.

Faces of Faery 71 - JBG & SAL SK Phuan

Well I've been stitching away on FoF 71. I want to get her done and turn her in for the HAED loyalty program.

Plus I've got my update on the 2010 SAL SK Phuan

Well since I only have 3 more days of work left, I guess I'll have lots of time to stitch!

Yahhh! I finally found out how to put up my slideshow of everything. I'm stitching on SAL SK Phuan and I'm having so much fun stitching all the blue and yellow. I've only got a week of work left till I'm unemployed, so I'll have more stitching time while I job search again.
